Farm Tour

At Thornfield Heritage Farm, we raise Black Copper Marans, a chicken breed best known for their chocolate-colored eggs, which we ship all over the United States and Puerto Rico, along with their day-old chicks.  We also have a number of Endangered Breeds as defined by the Livestock Conservancy, which include waterfowl, turkeys, and rabbits, and love to introduce folks to these beautiful animals and birds.  

Many of our critters roam freely on our farm and might very well walk right up to you and say 'hi'.  Our Kunekune pigs are visitor favorites, as are our Netherland Dwarf rabbits, which you will be able to sit and hold.  And at times, we may also have some beautiful Maine Coon kittens for you to see and pet as well.
